Aven4	Just bought a sailboat with an Evinrude SailDrive in it. This is basically an outboard engine modified to be an inboard, mounted thru the hull bottom. Evinrude made them in the 80's just for sailboats. Neat idea but the engine needs work. I'm looking for an info source or to buy a shop manual. Can anybody help?	2001-11-10
GF	My 80 26 ft Hughes had a saildrive. It died and the owner removed it glassed over the bottom and put a 9.9 on the back, works great. Seems like this is what all the people with saildrives are doing once they go down.	2001-11-11
